At the Copyright Alliance, we represent the copyright interests of our individual creator and organizational members before lawmakers, policymakers, the courts and the copyright community overall. To accomplish our mission of advocating policies that promote and preserve the value of copyright, and protecting the rights of creators and innovators we regularly (i) file amicus briefs to provide courts with information that bears on a particular case and to explain how the court’s decision and interpretation of the law could affect the copyright community and the copyright law; and (ii) testify and submit comments to help educate and inform congressional lawmakers, executive branch agencies and the Copyright Office on important policy implications involved when considering potential changes to copyright law or regulations. Our views and statements can be found on the pages that follow in this section.
