Copyright Alliance Applauds Approval of White House Intellectual Property Advisor

Washington, D.C. Today, Copyright Alliance CEO Keith Kupferschmid issued the following statement regarding theÊSenate’s approval of Vishal J. Amin, President Trump’s nominee for White House Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC):

“The Copyright Alliance congratulates Vishal Amin on his confirmation as the next U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator in the Executive Office of the President.

With copyright protections essential to creating new jobs and promotingÊeconomic growth, the IPEC position was established to oversee aÊwell-coordinated approach to copyright enforcement.
