California Copyright Conference: ‘AI, Creators, and the Future of Copyright’

The California Copyright Conference is hosting a panel that will focus on AI, Creators, and the Future of Copyright. The event will include a discussion on “transparency in identifying AI-generated v. human created music; what consent is required for music to be used for AI training; how music licensing may be impacted by AI-generated works; how songwriters and composers can leverage AI in their creative works; and whether copyright law is equipped to address the various legal issues that the emergence of AI has raised.” The event moderator is Wayne Josel, Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, ASCAP.
