Federalist Society Webinar: AI Meets Copyright: Understanding New York Times v. OpenAI

The Federalist Society is hosting a webinar titled AI Meets Copyright: Understanding New York Times v. OpenAI. The event will focus on assisting attendees in better understanding the 2023 suit that involves the New York Times suing OpenAI and Microsoft, “alleging that OpenAI’s use of articles from the New York Times to train their ChatGPT large language model constitutes copyright infringement.” Speakers include Professor Charles Duan, American University Washington College of Law; Professor Zvi Rosen, Simmons School of Law at Southern Illinois University; and Steven Tepp, Sentinel Worldwide, and a George Washington University School of Law lecturer.
