Washington, DC—Today, Copyright Alliance CEO Keith Kupferschmid initiated the following statement regarding the Creative Rights Caucus’ (CRC) announcement of new leadership for the 119th Congress:
According to Kupferschmid, “We welcome and congratulate Representative Laurel Lee (R-FL) as a new Co-Chair of the Creative Rights Caucus (CRC). The CRC serves the critical role of educating Congress and the public about the importance of preserving and protecting the rights of the creative community, which contributes more than $2 trillion to the U.S. GDP and 11.6 million jobs. We are confident that Representative Lee will do an exemplary job of furthering these goals. We are excited about the new ideas and energy that Representative Lee will bring to the CRC as she serves alongside Caucus founder, Representative Judy Chu (D-CA), and Co-Chairs Senators Mazie Hirono (D-HI) and Thom Tillis (R-NC). Please join us in welcoming Representative Lee to the CRC.”
