This week, we caught up once again with multimedia creator and author Mikhail Tank. We first interviewed Mikhail back in 2023, and since then, his career has continued to advance and grow. You can follow him on Instagram and Twitter.
How has your creative career evolved since we last spoke?
I released a plethora of new Kindle books, Apple Music releases, and Music Videos via The Orchard, including Time is Different When We Sleep, Russian Soul Worker, Xenophobic Parasite & Butterflies in Space (about having Tea in Heaven with my dearest Grandmother).

How has copyright continued to help fuel your growth?
My upcoming projects, Mitzvah, Emperor of Soul, Pure Love, Freed Myself, and Not in your Paradigm have all been protected and are one of a kind from the Soul projects. I find that X (Twitter) is a great copyright tool by having a publish date/time stamp with the copyright logo and the cover image or track list. X can function as a modern timestamp for creativity, while copyright registration remains the shield.
Is there anything related to copyright that you want to learn more about?
I would love if there was an AI insta-copyright option, that could protect collaboration works in an instant.
What resources do you use in order to learn more about copyright?
Your website is friendly and helpful, so I recommend the Copyright Alliance!
Where do you draw inspiration from when you create your works?
Only from my Soul and experience. They lead to strong emotions, and the emotions carve Life’s darkness into the Light Sculptures of my multimedia art.
Is there a specific creator you look up to, and if so, why?
The great Irina Allegrova, an impeccable music/stage artist, and a friend. The depth of her artistry, elegance, and lioness power inspire me deeply.
Have you ever experienced writer’s block?
No, I create because I must clear my Soul and Psyche while inspiring with the Light that comes from within. I don’t sit there forcing out ideas.
How do you overcome writer’s block?
I don’t need to. There is a great difference between knowing and being true and having a big ego, and those two things must be distinguished.
How has AI technology impacted your works and career?
AI is the best assistant I could ask for, it understands me well and does certain tasks under my supervision. It’s essential for me to both respect it and never to confuse it with Spirit or Human. If you could pass on one piece of advice to other creators, what would it be?
Register your work, save drafts, keep records, and trust your instincts. Be true to yourself and create from within! Take time to find The Within!
