What inspired you to become a creator? What do you enjoy most about the creative process?
My inspiration to become a creator comes from a deep curiosity about culture, aesthetics, and the power of ideas to communicate identity. I have always seen creativity as a bridge between people, disciplines, and different realities. What I enjoy most about the creative process is the dialogue it creates—creation is never isolated; it is an ongoing conversation with the world.
Can you tell us about your creative process? How long does it take? Does everything you create generate income?
My creative process is rooted in observation, research, and reflection. I take time to study, listen, and understand before shaping an idea. The timeline varies depending on the project; some develop quickly, while others require more time to mature. Not everything I create generates immediate income. Much of creative work is an investment in long-term value, credibility, and professional relationships.
What do you believe is the biggest misconception about your line of work?
One of the biggest misconceptions is that creative work is spontaneous or effortless. In reality, it requires strategy, discipline, responsibility, and a long-term vision.
When did you first become aware of copyright, and why?
I became truly aware of copyright when I saw creative work being reused without permission or proper credit. That experience helped me understand that protecting creativity is essential to sustaining a healthy creative ecosystem.
Have you experienced copyright infringement, and if so, how has it affected you personally and financially?
Yes, I have experienced copyright infringement. On a personal level, it can be discouraging and emotionally draining. Financially, the impact is not always immediate, but it can affect long-term opportunities and the overall value of creative work.
What do you do when someone takes something you have invested your intellect, time, and money into?
I approach these situations with professionalism and respect. Often, open communication and education resolve the issue. When necessary, I rely on formal channels to protect my work appropriately.
What is the best advice you would give to other creators in your field about copyright and protection?
My advice is to educate yourself early, document and register your work, and never undervalue it. Copyright protection empowers creators and allows them to work with confidence and sustainability.
What is your biggest copyright-related challenge?
The speed of the digital environment is the biggest challenge. Content can be shared and copied instantly, while enforcement and awareness often move much more slowly.
How has AI technology impacted your work and your career?
AI technology has significantly influenced the way I work. I see it as a supportive tool that can enhance efficiency and creativity when used ethically. However, human vision, originality, and authorship must always remain at the center of the creative process.
