This report examined the impact of new technology on copyright law by analyzing court cases concerning online music and film delivery systems, namely UMG Recordings, Inc. v. MP3.Com, Inc, A & M Records, Inc. v. Napster, Inc., and Universal City Studios v. Reimerdes.
