The Authors Guild Foundation is hosting a panel for academic writers who want to reach a broader retail audience for their works by writing for trade publications. This event will share what to expect during the transition as well as offer advice on getting started. Speakers include Sharmila Sen, editorial director of Harvard University Press and Belknap Press; Molly Turpin, editor at Random House; Wendy Strothman, literary agent at the Strothman Agency; and Manan Ahmed, author and associate professor at Columbia University; Richard Thompson Ford will moderate.
