Fireside Chat and Reception to Honor Justice Breyer’s Copyright Legacy

The DC Chapter of the Copyright Society, in partnership with the George Washington University Law School, will host a two-part event in honor of retired Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s copyright legacy. Part one will feature a Fireside Chat with Justice Breyer and Professor Robert Brauneis, Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Intellectual Property Program at George Washington University Law School; and part two will feature a panel discussion with academics and practitioners. Panel speakers include Dale Cendali, a partner in Kirkland & Ellis’ New York office and head of Kirkland’s Copyright, Trademark, and Internet Practice Group; Regan Smith, a Professional Lecturer in Law at George Washington University and the Head of Public Policy with Spotify’s Government Affairs group; and Pam Samuelson, the Richard M.
