This workshop, hosted by the New York Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), “will provide an overview of legal issues in the fashion industry, including design protection and enforcement, commercial operations and agreements, and the rise of digital marketing.” The course is for designers, brands, and legal and layperson professionals to help them understand the path that fashion law has taken, including the history of intellectual property law in fashion and “information on why copyright protection in the fashion industry is more limited than in other artistic industries.” For additional information and to register, please click here.
