The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI) is a professional development training program designed to support elementary, middle, and high school teachers as they increase their knowledge of intellectual property (IP) creation and protection. The program, which is open to K-12 teachers nationwide, is designed to help learning professionals inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs by providing experiential training tools, practices, and learning models regarding IP.
