Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts New York (VLANY) will host a two-day MediateArt session for those interested in training to be an arts mediator. The session will consist of a workshop for attorneys, artists, arts administrators, and other professionals with an interest in the arts and mediation. Participants will learn effective mediation skills through observing mock-mediations, engaging in mediation simulations, and receiving feedback from program faculty. Following completion of the program, participants will be eligible to take part as mediators in VLANY’s MediateArt Program. The program instructor is Alida Camp, Esq., a full-time mediator/arbitrator specializing in alternative dispute resolution of employment, commercial, and entertainment cases.
