Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts New York (VLANY) will host a virtual workshop on how to form a non-profit organization for attorneys, arts professionals, and creators. The workshop will cover the legal, ethical, and financial obligations associated with getting a non-profit off the ground, including articles of incorporation, bylaws, what to include during the first organization meeting, and IRS 501(c)(3) and corresponding regulations.
