Deadline for ELI Writing Contest Submissions

October 8 @ 10:00 am

The Entertainment Law Initiative (ELI) Writing Contest, in partnership with the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Recording Academy, will provide an opportunity for law students to identify and research legal issues facing the music industry along with proposed solutions by writing a 3,000 word essay. A nationwide panel of music law experts will judge the papers in a blind process to select one winner and two runners-up. Winners will receive scholarship prizes, the opportunity to work with industry mentors, and tickets to Grammy Week events. The deadline to submit an essay is October 8, and winners will be notified by November 30. For additional information on how to participate, please click here.
