The Directors Guild of America (DGA) has announced the key dates for the 79^th Annual DGA Awards. Entry forms for theatrical feature films, television, commercials, and documentaries become available September 1, 2026, with submissions due November 13. Online voting for nominations opens December 14. Television, commercial, and documentary nomination voting closes January 4, 2027, with nominees announced January 6. Feature film nomination voting ends January 6, with nominees announced January 7. Final voting for the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film Award runs January 7–29, with member screenings taking place between January 18–22. The 79^th Annual DGA Awards will be presented on Saturday, January 30, 2027, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. For additional information, please click here.
