On April 14, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) published a request for comments regarding artificial intelligence (AI) system accountability measures and policies to ensure that AI systems are legal, effective, ethical, safe, and trustworthy. NTIA will use these comments and other public engagements on the topic to draft and issue a report on AI accountability policy development, focusing on the AI assurance ecosystem.
