On October 7, the U.S. Copyright Office (USCO) published a notice of inquiry (NOI) soliciting information about issues related to music streaming fraud. The NOI responds to a letter from Representative Scott Fitzgerald (R-WI) asking the Office to “examine the prevalence of streaming fraud across digital platforms and how it may be affecting the music industry as a whole.” Initial comments are due November 23 and reply comments are due December 21.
