New Deadline to Apply for Copyright Claims Officer Positions

The U.S. Copyright Office has extended the deadline for Copyright Claims Officer position applications to April 14. Copyright Claims Officers will be appointed by the Librarian of Congress upon the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights. It’s required that all Officers have substantial familiarity with copyright law, that one of them possess alternative dispute resolution experience, and the other two possess substantial experience in the evaluation, litigation, or adjudication of copyright infringement claims.
