The Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) will host a certificate course titled Introduction to Copyright, which is designed for professionals who would like an overview of U.S. copyright law to assist with their day-to-day work duties. This instructor-led session includes a review of U.S. copyright concepts and terms, exclusive rights, exceptions and limitations, and an analysis of real-world scenarios. During the course, attendees will participate in discussions and activities that will help build a foundational understanding of U.S. copyright law and best practices to manage copyright compliance. Once the course is completed, a certificate will be awarded to attendees in addition to six months of access to course materials in the CCC University learning portal.
