Copyright-adjacency and the CRTC
April 20 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm EDT
The Ottawa and Toronto Chapters of the Copyright Society are hosting a panel discussion on the “various challenges and approaches to regulating Internet content through an existing and expanding copyright-adjacent regulatory framework for telecommunications and broadcasting” in Canada, where the broadcasting industry is regulated by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). The discussion will include whether the regulation measures are necessary and if they can achieve the desired outcome. For additional information and to register, please click here.
