The Congressional Trademark Caucus (CTC), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC) and the International Trademark Association (INTA) are hosting a briefing “focus[ed] primarily on the U.S. State Department, Department of Justice and private sector efforts to stem the tide of counterfeit products in the marketplace, particularly online due to the explosion of consumer purchases in the e-commerce space as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which at the same time has led to a rise in counterfeit activity on the Internet.” Special remarks will be given by Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Representative Michael McCaul (10th District, Texas).
