The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is hosting a half-day program in Honolulu, HI, as well as via livestream, to bring together the world’s five largest intellectual property (IP) offices, representatives from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and well as representatives from the Hawaiian innovation community. The discussion will focus on wide-ranging thoughts about incentivizing, protecting, and commercializing climate-related innovations as they relate to IP. Session topics include perspectives on climate change from the IP5 offices, perspectives on bringing climate-related innovation to market, and perspectives on the challenges in climate-related innovation.
