The American Bar Association IP Law Section (ABA-IPL) will host its 2023 Annual Meeting (IPLSPRING), featuring more than 20 CLE sessions, networking events, business meetings, and more at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Sessions will “address the most cutting-edge topics in the intellectual property arena” to assist attendees in “stay[ing] current, whether their practice is focused on patents, trademarks, or copyrights.” The program includes sessions on Legislative Updates, Managing IP Malpractice Risks, Steering Your Patent Prosecution Portfolio, Updates from the U.S. Copyright Office, Tools for Combatting Counterfeit Goods, Counseling Clients on Mandatory Disclosures, and more. During the event, on April 13 at 9:45 a.m. ET, Copyright Alliance CEO Keith Kupferschmid will moderate a panel titled Copyright Claims Board—One Year In.
