On June 2, the U.S. Copyright Office announced that the Copyright Claims Board (CCB), which was conceived under the CASE Act, will begin accepting claims on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Starting on June 16, CCB participants will be able to register for eCCB, which is the CCB’s electronic filing and case management system, and file or opt out of a CCB claim. The CCB Handbook, which will provide guidance on how to navigate the CCB, will also be made available on the June 16.
