The International Trade Association (ITA) and the American Association for Independent Music (A2IM) will host an informal, brown bag-style event titled Copyrights & Music Licensing in China, providing an “opportunity to learn about copyrights and music licensing in China and pose questions to IP experts.” The event is being hosted thanks to a 2020 Market Development Cooperator Award (MDCP) granted to A2IM from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration “to address trade barriers and copyrights in the global music industry, and increase licensing and international partnerships.” Registration and additional information are available here.
