As part of its modernization efforts, the U.S. Copyright Office is working with its partners in the Library of Congress’ Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) “to implement a framework for applying agile methodology—which advocates early delivery, continual improvement, and flexible responses to change—at an organization-wide level to holistically manage Enterprise Copyright System (ECS) development.” During the upcoming webinar, panelists will discuss this approach and its benefits. The Copyright Office launched its modernization webinar series on January 31, 2019 and past webinars and presentation slides can be viewed here. Additional webinars will be held by the Office every other month during modernization to keep the public informed.
