New York Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (NYVLA) will host a class to help give comedians a better understanding of the legal framework that shapes and supports their careers. This class will be taught by VLA externs, Grace Ward and Lindsey Mattson and will go through key legal concepts for comedians and follow topics of Trademark, Copyright Contract basics, IP ownership, AI, and recording and posting videos, among other topics.
