The Copyright Society is hosting an event to shed light on the subject of Blanket Licensing for Generative AI. With a growing number of lawsuits being filed against AI tech companies by copyright owners, initiatives are currently underway to create voluntary blanket licenses to protect content, with the goal being to make it as easy as possible for AI companies to obtain licenses for the content they use to train their models.
