This event, hosted by New York Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLANY), will provide an overview of how federal and New York state law treats street photography, how the law distinguishes different types of street photography depending on where the image is taken, what to do if approached by law enforcement while photographing, and the ins-and-outs of protecting and distributing your street photography in commercial contexts.
