California Lawyers for the Arts is hosting a workshop for creatives that will offer an overview of both copyright and trademark basics. Topics covered will include the definitions of copyright and trademark, an overview of what is protected and not protected, and information on the benefits of registering your works. The event is designed for those who have existing works that are protected by copyright and/or trademark, or who are completely new to the concept of intellectual property and want to begin learning. The webinar will be facilitated by attorney Keith Cooper, who specializes in entertainment, IP, and business law. The standard attendance fee is $20.00.
