The Authors Guild Foundation will host its second annual Words, Ideas, and Thinkers (WIT) Festival. During the 2023 event, attendees will explore facets of the theme, Changing the Narrative, to “expand the understanding of critical issues, celebrate America’s literary culture, and amplify new voices and perspectives.” Speakers at the WIT Festival will include Marty Baron, Michael Cunningham, Rita Dove, Isaac Fitzgerald, Saeed Jones, Patrick Radden Keefe, Maya Shanbhag Lang, Stacy Schiff, Jane Smiley, Emma Straub, Jonathan Taplin, and Margaret Verble.
