SUMMARY:Deadline to Complete Copyright Alliance Survey of USCO Proposed Fee Structures
DESCRIPTION:On March 26\, the U.S. Copyright Office published a notice requesting comments on possible alternative copyright registration fee structures. To develop our response to the notice\, the Copyright Alliance distributed a fee survey (Part II)\, which solicits input from creators and copyright owners about the Copyright Office’s consideration of a proposal to implement a new subscription-based model for copyright registration. If you are an individual creator\, please share your input with us. If you are an organization that represents creators as members or clients\, please forward the survey to your contacts and ask them to complete it (it only takes 10 minutes). The data we collect will only be used only in the aggregate to inform the Copyright Office about how a subscription-based registration fee model may affect creators and copyright owners. The deadline to complete the survey is Thursday\, June 11.
